This week has really just completely flown by. Well, except for the time I spend on my commute.
On Tuesday I was on my way home from doing the radio show and English conversation in Lund when a freight train de-railed somewhere along the route…turning what should have been a 10 minute ride into a 40 minute zzzzzzzzz-fest. By Wednesday I'd finally remembered to take my book with me…and of course it's been smooth-sailing ever since.
I've had a great time working on the production side of the company this week. So far I've assembled a circuit board (including all the soldering), packaged and shipped new products and spare parts all over Europe, and helped build a big revolving door that's headed for Fargo, North Dakota.
And I've met a bunch of really nice folks who are so patient about dealing with my ragged Swedish. Best of all, I've discovered that the coffee machines in the factory dispense hot blueberry soup…which I've quickly become addicted to! And given that it's such a good source of Vitamin C, I don't even feel all that guilty about it! LOL!
