All of southern Sweden is under a storm warning tonight. Gothenburg is supposed to get some decent snow but down here on the Swedish Riviera the main issue is wind. It’s averaging about 50 miles per hour at the moment. The Öresund Bridge over to Copenhagenhas been closed to vehicular traffic since 3 p.m. and the transport officials cancelled the trains going over it earlier this evening. A lot of flights in and out of the Copenhagen airport were cancelled too, though regular flight schedules are expected to resume in the morning.
But here at the homestead we’re snug as couple of bugs in a rug. The downstairs doors rattle once in awhile and I can see the lamp post out front swaying quite a bit…but so far we have both electricity and cable…which means we can survive just about anything!
