PC World: “The fastest Windows Vista notebook we’ve tested this year is a Mac.”

PC World Magazine is running a feature on the "Most Notable Notebooks of 2007". This one naturally caught my eye:  Fastest: Apple MacBook Pro "The fastest Windows Vista notebook we've tested this year is a Mac." I'm thinking about sending a framed copy of the article to Bill Gates.

Gordon Ramsay overload…

My addiction to BBC Food (the TV cable channel, not the cafeteria fare) continues unabated…and lately I've been getting a double-shot of foul-mouthed Scottish chef Gordon Ramsay.  The network is running the latest season of "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" on Wednesday nights, and is featuring the first season of his series "The F Word" on Friday …

Even Alpha Geeks can’t work miracles without hardware

Let me start off by saying that I have the utmost respect and admiration for the guys in my company’s IT support department.  Their’s is often a thankless job…especially since their success usually depends upon the computer competency of a bunch of technically-challenged middle managers. I’m actually one of the more computer-literate people at my office, which is kind …
