Who needs Fried Butter On-a-Stick when you’ve got Churros?!

State Fair season in the United States always makes me a little homesick for deep-fried dough. Fortunately, there are always a couple of Churro booths at the Malmö Festival, which happens every August down here on the Swedish Riviera.

I’m not sure what exactly makes this particular rendering of fried dough so good, but I think it has something to do with ridges They become nice and crispy when fried, plus they provide extra surface for the cinnamon and sugar to cling to … YUM.
