We’re having “Oobleck” for lunch

Based on the appearance of this weekend’s juice concoction, I was sure the Swede had been inspired by Dr. Seuss. (Either that, or she was just highly successful in trying to match the exact hue of of our green veggie cutting board.)

But it turns out, Dr. Darling has never even heard of “Bartholomew and the Oobleck.” (One of my favorite childhood books.) This just happens to be the color you get when you combine spinach, celery, broccoli, cucumber, ginger, orange, lemon and kiwi in our juicer.

Fortunately the flavor comes predominantly from the last four ingredients.

WOW!!! That is a work of art! We’ll put this one on our list for sure.

I’d never heard of Bartholomew either. Guess I’ll have to do some research.
